Visually hydraulic inspect the upper radiator hose pumps for pressure marks dump and traces of rubbing at the closest point of contact to bed the oil filter housing hydraulic cast boss (see illustration). If traces of rubbing are found, the upper radiator hose must be replaced pumps with the new style hose (See Parts Information).NOTE: A modified hose was used in production from approximately mid-November 1995 through June dump 1996, which included an extra rubber pad attached bed to the outside of the hose in the critical area. If traces hydraulic and pumps of rubbing are found on the rubber pad area of this type of hose, it must also dump be replaced with the new bed style hose. Visually inspect the oil filter housing for any sharp edges or burrs hydraulic on the casting boss. If a sharp edge or casting pumps burr is found on the boss, it must be removed dump using sand bed paper or a fine file. Results hydraulic and analysis pumps and dump and bed and hydraulic and pumps for a dozen tanks included in the study are shown in dump the bar chart on page 47."We typically found from 1 quart to 1 gallon of dirt and rust in the bed bottom of tanks we cleaned," hydraulic says Country Energy''s Norm Dooley. "And in one case, we found 4 1/2 gallons of contaminants in the pumps tank."Dirt, rust are main problemsA lab analysis of material from selected tanks dump shows the contaminants are primarily dirt and rust. bed "We assume the dirt got into hydraulic the pumps tanks during filling (when the cap was removed) or it could have blown into the tanks through dump and bed the vent cap. It''s hydraulic also likely that dust was sucked into the tanks when they naturally breathed as fuel volume pumps or dump air temperature bed changed," says Dooley.
