Andrew/Whittet-Higgins: One pitfall is not allowing the needed spacing in the assembly housing. If the components are not locked together properly, the machinery can fail prematurely. A second pitfall is assuming that a particular torque measurement for one component is correct for the entire assembly.Jim/Stafford: * Using a set-screw collar on a hardened shaft. The screw does not "set," and holding power is greatly diminished.* Using a set-screw collar on thin-wall tubing, which can permanently distort the tubing.* Specifying too thin a width on a clamp-type collar, cessnahydraulicpump leaving it too weak to resist distortion when the clamp-screw is tightened.* Specifying too thin a clamp-slot on threaded shaft cessnahydraulicpump collars where the collar must flex more in order to adequately cessnahydraulicpump clamp onto the threaded shaft. Each of the three horizontal shaft models has a compression ratio of 8.5:1 and peak torque at 2000 rpm, with the 17 hp producing 28.2 lb.ft., the 20 hp producing 33.17 lb.ft. and the 23 hp producing 38.16 lb.ft.Kohler also added two models -- 20 and 23 hp -- to its overhead camshaft, air-cooled Triad OHC engines. Previously available in 16 and 18 hp ratings, the V-twin horizontal shaft engines are suited for a variety of applications including consumer lawn and garden, commercial cessnahydraulicpump turf, golf course, construction, industrial and agricultural. "Pressure at the fuel injectors has increased from 15,000 psi a few years ago to nearly cessnahydraulicpump 30,000 psi on new engines," says Pete Brown of Caterpillar''s engine applications group. "To get these higher pressures, fuel pumps are built to closer tolerances. Dirt in the fuel is like sandpaper, and it will definitely cause greater wear."To cessnahydraulicpump meet the challenge, Cat''s newest engines are equipped with increased water-sensing and fuel-filtering capabilities as well as a filter on the fuel tank breather. Primary fuel filters, once designed to remove 150-micron particles, are now rated for 10 microns. Secondary filters, once sized to remove 10-micron particles, are now rated for 2 microns. And the new high-efficiency filters can remove up to 99% of particles above those rated sizes compared to the 50% efficiency of older nominal filters. Filter improvements are also available for storage tanks. "Tank filters are typically rated at 10 microns nominal, so they take out 50% of particles greater than 10 microns in size. Tank filters with higher efficiencies, ratings down to 2 microns and water-absorbing capabilities, are now available," says Gall.
